Oh La La! featuring French chanteuse Marie Michèle have been playing all over clubs, events and weddings happily ever afters for already 8 years, all over New York and the tri-state, but also nationwide and in Europe. Delighting everyone with their joyous 30's and 40's swing sound, delicate chanson française and sultry bossa-nova, they also love to keep everyone dancing with classic Soul and Blues from the 50's and 60's and funky Motown sounds!

Comprised of some of the top jazz and world musicians in the New York area, Oh La La! Sets itself apart from other bands in its stylistic versatility and ability to adapt to your specific taste, budget, volume and space limitations. In any configuration, ranging in size anywhere from solo to the 8 piece band , the band retains its sense of elegance and class that guarantees your event's performance to feel timeless.

 

The band has  an extensive repertoire in multiple genres, but are happy to fulfill any specific song request for your special evening. We can also try to emulate a particular recording that you love, or even accompany one of your party's guests in performing a prepared piece! Marie Michèle and the Oh La La! band customizing each performance to best fit the mood while retaining our vintage look (retro dress and suits, double-bass, vintage microphone).
